Wildflowers
I am still doing a bit of (re)arranging on the image Portfolio side of my new photography website, and one of those updates I wanted to do was to add new collections to the Portfolios. Last week I separated out my Portfolio page into three main sections to offer a little better subject separation. That page now has a Catalog (main set of mixed genres), a set called Garden, which will be all the various types of flowers and Iris bulbs we have collected and photographed, and a Yearly section for my collections that recap each year.
This update is to launch off the Garden Portfolios with Wildflowers. Since I haven't finished the Iris photo edits yet, the Wildflowers made it online first. I use the term wildflowers as a bit of a generic term as these are flowers I have either come across literally in the wild, or things that just grow wild (without much attention) around where we live. Technically all flowers have some name and species, but these, for the most part, aren't flowers we go to the store and buy and plant.
I hope you enjoy the first Wildflower collection below.

I always consider each portfolio as a sort of living breathing thing. I will continue to add to these collections until I think they have reached their potential as a set and then I will move to a "Part 2" version. This is why there is a Auburn I and Auburn II portfolio (the first is finished, the second is still a work in progress). The same goes with the Garden images like the Wildflowers here.
I would love to see some of the wildflowers you have blooming in your area, just hit reply on your email or leave a comment below. Until next time...
