Opelika

Opelika is such a special and unique town. Some think it’s overpowered and overshadowed by it’s loud neighbor but it provides such a different environment that it’s one of my most favorite small towns in Alabama. It is home to distilleries and breweries, big classic traditional church buildings, a very active art district and night life, great food, artisan coffee… it’s just an all around special town.

Photographic opportunities abound in Opelika from the railway to the historic district and I love shooting in Opelika. I’m looking forward to updating my portfolio of Opelika images very soon.
