Yearly Recap 2024 Commitment

As a way to take an objective view of my photography I am working on a yearly recap gallery for each year going.

As a way to take an objective view of my photography I am working on a yearly recap gallery for each year going backwards to the 90s. For each year below I select 24 images to represent the year. If interested, I also have a gear breakdown year by year.

Thoughts About 2024

My 2024 began with a re-commitment to myself: to continue creating high-quality images consistently throughout the year, and to persist in the work I’ve loved for many years now. This marks my first full year with all-new gear, transitioning from the a7iii to newer high-resolution sensors, albeit not without much trial and error.

After starting with Fujifilm in late 2023, transitioning to Nikon, then Sony, back to Fujifilm, I have firmly returned to Nikon for the foreseeable future. This year, this gallery set represents my commitment to producing high-quality images that I love. I will post 24 images for each year, representing my photographic journey since its inception.

If you haven't tried looking back at your year in photos, I would highly recommend doing this. It's revealing and reminds me that we did accomplish a lot of things in life.
